If you're looking for a cool and refreshing salad recipe for this summer, look no further. This salad is light and sweet, with a perfect balance between fruit and vegetables. Not only is it delicious, but it also features two extremely hydrating foods -- watermelon and cucumber.
Caramelized onions cooked down with fragrant cumin, ginger, garlic, sesame seeds and chiles...mized together with lightly cooked cauliflower. Vibrant, spicy, sweet earthiness all on one plate.
​These delicious, seasonal burgers may seem time intensive at first, but fear not: once you have your quinoa and chickpeas cooked, they're really a snap, and they showcase the flavor potential of veggie burgers perfectly.
The filling is mixed, mashed, and fluffed into a light herb-flecked dollop. Toasted almonds add the crunch, chive flowers bring the pretty. They're not technically deviled, as there is no paprika or mustard in this version, but you can always tweak the filling to your liking with either.
These little open-faced tartines are the epitome of Spring and take less than ten minutes to pull together.
